Document-based Application Structure

Hi all,

I have a very rudimentary question for all of you--I've got a document-based app, and as of now, I've got all my methods in a class called AppController. I'm a bunch of problems calling methods in AppController from the Menu Items, and was wondering, do these methods need to be in MyDocument, or is it modular in that if set up properly, I can continue to keep my methods in AppController, and work from there.

Thanks,
Brian Amerige
