The time for the next Cocoa-heads meeting is fast approaching!

Come join us at the Orange County Public Library (El Toro) community room, 24672 Raymond Way, Lake Forest, CA 92630 from 7pm to 9pm.

On the community front, we will hear a firsthand report from a recent Big Nerd Ranch attendee about his experiences.

The meat of our topic will be a WWDC wrap-up. WWDC had many exciting announcements that are under NDA, but we can discuss things that were in the keynote, or that have made it to the public eye. These include fun things like Time Machine, Core Animation, and Objective C with garbage collection.

Again, bring code snippets or questions for discussion, plus any topics you hope to hear about in the future.

Thanks go to OReilly for our book giveaway this month. A copy of 'Zero Configuration Networking' goes to one lucky attendee. This technology, (called Bonjour by Apple), allows you to dynamically discover services, like printers and file servers. It is used heavily by iApps, plus such keen programs as SubEthaEdit.

Scott
