Give ObjectAlloc a try. You'll find it in Xcode's Debug menu in the submenu Launch Using Performance Tool.
After running your program into the crash you should be able to dig up the release that's causing the trouble. It helped me with
a very stupid error a couple of months ago, with which I made a fool of myself right on this list ;)
