NSControl in NSTextView

Hi,

is it possible to insert a NSControl into a NSTextView similar as it's done with normal images?
If not, are there any examples on how to achieve a similar effect?

I'd like to place a button in a text view to replace tags in the text. The user could then
click the button to open an editor for that tag, rather than editing it directly.

Maybe there are better ways of doing that?

Thanks for any help/tips
   - Falko
