Along with this question... does can someone share how to change the
icon for a NSPopUpButton when clicked. I am trying to create an
action button similar to the one found in Mail.app for adding smart
mailboxes. Everything works great using a NSPopUpButton, but I would
like for the icon to change when click so it looks like the button is
depressed. I already have the image file, I just need to figure out
how to trigger the action. Thanks.

solution: select any one of the NSPopUpButton menu items, then hit
command-C (copy) followed by command-V (paste). As you paste the
copied item, it gets added as a new item. Repeat the paste operation
as many times as you need, then edit them as desired.
