He's modified his request a bit, changed his code and obviously
incorporated some new knowledge and guesses as to where he should
be heading for the solution.
So posting a slightly reworded request several times in an hour or
two is okay? Sorry, but if you're reposting that fast, it's a good
indication you're not taking your time to work through the problem.
PLEASE don't jump on people so quickly, we're all here to try to
help each other.
Reposting the same basic question (whether slightly improved or
not) needlessly increases list traffic. See "signal-to-noise". I'd
personally not like my inbox flooded with many minute edits to the
same post. Carefully consider your question, post it, then wait
patiently (and politely) for a response from the list. Best not to
flood (and thereby annoy) those whom you're asking for help. To do so
is poor list etiquette.
