Hi All,

I'm writing a cocoa PDE. And on UI I put a NSSecureTextField control for password input. Now I meet with a problem: after I input password and move focus to other control, the password will be automatically set as 8-byte string on UI. Only when i keep focus on the NSSecureTextField control the password can be displayed correctly.
I think this is the feature of NSSecureTextField, but I need to display the password correctly all the time. Is there any way to let NSSecureTextField control always display user input frankly(just like carbon)?

Best Regards
Jeff Chen
