SecKeychainAddGenericPassword

I have a System Pref Panel that needs to r/w items in the default keychain.

I call:

SecKeychainAddGenericPassword

Normally this works, but if the user first goes to Network, Airport, Proxies
and has a proxy defined, then when my app calls this (after switching out
the Network pane and switching in mine, I get:

Err = 100013 (EACCES) Permission Denied

Why is this happening?

Anything to do with Cocoa not being able to unload objects and the Network
Pane still having some sort of lock on access to the keychain?

Thanks,

Trygve
