I have now eliminated another bug in my app that was interfering with my
ability to work on this remaining problem.
I can now confirm that Photoshop consistently crashes a second or two after
my app launches it, even if I launch it as soon as my app finishes launching
and do nothing else. When I run my app in debug mode, Photoshop does not
crash.
The previous version of my app does not exhibit this problem, but I now
realize that it was compiled under an earlier version of Tiger and Xcode.
Was there some change in the most recent versions of Tiger and Xcode that
could be causing this?
Can others reproduce this behavior?
How can it be that running my app in debug mode eliminates this behavior?
