Custom view background texture/color

Hello all!

I am very new to Cocoa, and currently I am trying to add a custom view to my Audio Unit plugin. So far all is fine, I designed a GUI with the interface builder. I will surely have several very, very basic questions, but for now there is one:

Since it's a "child" interface, not a standalone window, it has different background textures in different Audio Unit hosts. For example it has a light striped look in AULab (http://artemio.net/tmp/ cocoa/Transformer_GUI.png) but dark grey look in Garage Band (http:// artemio.net/tmp/cocoa/Transformer_GUI_GB.png). Is there a way to specify one of the standard OS X background textures explicitly either via the interface builder or in the actual custom view source files?

Thanks,

Artemiy.
