PICT to TIFF and back again

  • Subject: PICT to TIFF and back again

I have been going around in circles on this one.

Being new to Cocoa Programming I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

I have a PICT with transparency.
I want to take it's data and place it into an NSImage do various things to it such as
rotation, scaling,flipping.

I have it working but cannot seem to save the transparency.

I have read in various places that NSImage does not retain the transparency of PICT's.
Can someone put me out of my misery and confirm this or give me a pointer.

Thanks

Terry
