Sidebar palette?

cocoa-dev,

Applications like Mail, Yojimbo, Xtorrent, etc. have a very nice
sidebar control.  Is there a standard palette in Interface Builder or
elsewhere available for this?  Or are these applications customizing
NSOutlineView?  Thanks for any pointers.
