NSPopupButton as pulldown, image problems

  • Subject: NSPopupButton as pulldown, image problems

Hi,

I'm trying to create an action button like in Mail.app (the gear button) and for that I'm using an NSPopupButton that is set as a pulldown.

Now I have an NSMenu setup in IB aswell and before I programmatically add this menu to the popup, I first add a new menuitem that only has the gear image on it.

The problem I'm having is that the image is moved slightly to the right instead of being drawn at an x position of 0.

How can I solve this? Do I need to subclass NSPopupButton? How can I change the image when the user clicks on the button and revert back when the user stops clicking on it?

Thanks in advance,

Jesus
