Document based apps & tabbed windows?

  • Subject: Document based apps & tabbed windows?

If I create a document based XCode project, can it be coded to open new documents as tabs in a single window instead of one document per window? Unfortunately I can't seem to find any information on this. All the information & sample code has each new document opened in a new window.

What I'm wanting is similar to the tabs in a spreadsheet (where each tab was a different document), or LyX (ya, it's not Cocoa I know), where , again, each LaTeX document you open is a tab in the single window.

If I want this type of functionality, am I going to have to use a regular Cocoa project template and had-code all the windowing behavior?

	Thanks.
