Start with something that you would use yourself and that gets you
motivated. Otherwise it's going to be harder to learn Cocoa. Don't worry
about the Cocoa part you can always break any idea down to small basic
blocks that you can work on and look up tutorials for. (Scott is to modest
to mention it himself but his tutorials are a great place to start:
http://cocoadevcentral.com/ especially his Core Data tutorial; it will get
you familiar with a lot of the conventions of Cocoa.)
