determining minimum bounds to view all content of a view

  • Subject: determining minimum bounds to view all content of a view

i am printing web pages (using WebView which is a type of NSView). i therefore know the maximum width of the page (and therefore the view). but the length will be dynamic depending on how much info is in the html (which i cannot find out until the page is loaded into the view).

if i know the width of a view, how can i determine the minimum required height of the view required to show all contents?
