Is there a way to rotate the text in the PDFAnnotationFreeText?

No. PDF Kit doesn't support this. I checked the PDF spec and I don't see any obvious way that this is done with FreeText annotations anyway. Widgets alone have a rotate field where you can indicate this, but not other annotation sub-types.

So why do you want to rotate it? Perhaps it's the PDF itself that you want to rotate? Or maybe there is a bug in PDF Kit where it is not being drawn oriented correctly?

Anything else you can tell me will help.
