Thanks! I think performSelectorOnMainThread would be just what I was looking for.


but he did say he was looking for something API agnostic (ie, not Cocoa, Foundation).

Sorry, I wasn't clear about that, the library is agnostic but I was looking for a solution within the callback which is part of the host application which is a Cocoa application...
