image buttons + weird "focus" highlights

hello!

When I create an NSButton (with an image as the displayed contents)
in my cocoa application and it becomes the first responder, somebody
somewhere in Cocoa helpfully draws a blue fuzzy "focus" image around
my button's image.

Is there any way to get that NOT to happen? I had hoped the
NSButtonCell highlight property might be what I'm looking for, but
this looks like it's for pushed in buttons, right?

  thanks,
  marc.
