How to force a control to validate ?

Hi guys,

Is there a way to force a control to validate its content ?

I have a dialog sheet with some text fields, bound to a controller. I also have an "OK" button that close the sheet. I want that pressing the "OK" button validate the text fields and close the sheet only if there are no validation errors.

How can I achieve this ?
