Actually, the 1990s called and they wonder why this functionality
STILL isn't in the OSX Finder like it was in System 6, 7, 8, 9 and
probably 2-5.
You can select-all in a Finder window, then paste into text, but you
can't tell what is a directory vs. what is a file. I'm not sure this
will help the OP in any way.
