When I compile and run a simple Cocoa application using Xcode, I get

What does it mean. My app has nothing to do with Safari or networking, so why is the compiler (or is it Runtime) looking for it? My app runs and behaves as it should but I can't understand the mesage above?

You have installed a "plugin" for Safari called SafariStand at this location:

	~Library/InputManagers/SafariStand2.0b17

Remove it and try again. Input managers are _evil_, you can find more information about them on Google.
