constrain number input?

  • Subject: constrain number input?

Hi list.
Although a similar question is asked before, I still need more help.
I want to create a NSTextfield which can constrain number input formatter.
For example, you can only input the number like "XXX:XXX:XXX:XXX" into the NSTextfield.
Is there any simple way to do this? Of course, we can write lots of code to exam the format and parse the input content, however, I am seeking an easy way to accomplish this task.

Any idea is appreciated. Thank you in advance. _______________________________________________
