Second question: If I connect an action to the NSColorWell I get continously updated about the changed color. Is there a wait to get only informed when the NSColorWell is closed again?

Weird, I got the exact opposite in my app. I actually subclassed NSColorWell and made it send its action whenever -setColor: is called, just to fix this. Anyone know what decides when the action is sent?
