Reading text files line-by-line (dead link from archive)

  • Subject: Reading text files line-by-line (dead link from archive)

I need to read in a text file line by line, and I found this message on the list from 2002:
http://lists.apple.com/archives/Cocoa-dev/2002/Feb/msg00217.html
In the message, Bob Savage posted a link to a category he wrote for NSFileHandle for reading in one line of text, but the link is now broken. Does anybody have a copy of the code, or is it (or something similar) posted somewhere else?

I can see how to implement it but I figured there's no need to reinvent the wheel if someone has the code lying around.

Thanks for any help!

Daniel
