Spotlight importer

Hi folks,
I wrote a spotlight importer for our in-house use which works with com.adobe.postscript-pfb-font document type. Unfortunately several other importers claim to work with this kind of document and I somehow cannot manage to get my data from Spotlight.
I did try to use mdiport -g command to display imported data and there are my keywords, but they doesn't exist while doing standard search or using mdls command.
Is the precedence of importers based on domain (home, library, system) and two importers working with the same type cannot live in the same domain, or am I doing anything wrong?

Thanks
Robert
