I've been waiting for Apple to update its 'MoreUNIX.c' Sample Code to replace the depracated functions NSIsSymbolNameDefined() and NSLookupAndBindSymbol() and stop getting compiler warnings. But it looks like maybe it's never going to happen, since MoreAuthSample has been replaced by BetterAuthSample (which requires 10.4.6 or later).

Does anyone know what these functions do and/or how to replace them with non-depracated functions? They're declared in dyld.h in the 10.4u SDK, but no documentation shows when searching API in Xcode.
