Controlling RAW Camera file conversion in NSImage

NSImage, when presented with a RAW image file from a camera (a CR2, CRW or NEF) file for example, will decode the image and present the NSBitmapImageRep in the NSImage with a great 16 bit converted file. This is right cool but I have a question.

Is it possible to control any of the parameters in the RAW conversion? I am concerned with any Chroma or Noise Reduction applied to the image.
