Mike,
I have been using NSXMLDocument's
- (NSData *)XMLDataWithOptions:(unsigned int)options
The documentation for that method links to possible constants. The
list there does not mention the pretty print constant.
Without your help I would never have found it. Thus I'd say the
documentation could be better here. BTW googling "NSXMLDocument
pretty print" did not help either.
Thanks
Pierre

Nah, it's an NSXMLNode method which NSXMLDocument is a subclass of.

Mighty cool! Thanks.
This seems to be missing from the documentation: http://
developer.apple.com/documentation/Cocoa/Reference/Foundation/
Classes/NSXMLDocument_Class/Reference/Reference.html#//apple_ref/
doc/uid/20002406-44798
Best,
Pierre

Hi!
Is there a way to make NSXMLDocument spit out a pretty printed
file/string: new lines after tags, hopefully some indentation ?
The odd thing is that I start out with a pretty printed file.
Read it in. Make a couple of changes. Out comes this one long
line of unreadable XML.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
Pierre
