Joe:
Have you compared the settings in the "Appearance" preference pane
(specifically, the "Font smoothing style" and "Turn off text
smoothing for font sizes..." settings at the bottom)?
I have no idea whether that has anything to do with it, but it's
the first thing I thought about when I read your problem.

Hi,
I have a strange issue involving anti-aliasing of
NSMutableAttributedString's
I have 4 macs, and with the same code I am getting different
behaviour across all of them
An intel mac mini displays the fonts fine, a PPC powerbook displays
the fonts fine, but my 2 24" Imac G5 Intels refuse to anti-alias
the text in my app. The G5's are virgin installs, all machines have
the same font installed.
This happens with all fonts installed on the systems.
I thought it also could be a resolution issue, but if i run the app
using my mac mini monitor as the 2nd monitor on the G5s, I get the
same behavior.
All machines are running 10.4
Does anybody have any idea about why this is happening?
Thanks, Joe.
