Standard Defaults Binding read only?

Hi there folks,

I'm having an issue with a IB Binding with the Shared Defaults Controller.

For some reason it only seems to be read only? I've compared my settings with some other open source software and they seem to be the same, but for some reason it refuses to set the value...

I'm sure i've done something wrong here.
Any ideas what?
