Way to determine size of a menu?

  • Subject: Way to determine size of a menu?

Is there a way to determine the size of an NSMenu. The reason is that I want to duplicate the ability of Mail.app's action button when creating a context menu, where the menu will be placed either directly below or above the button depending on if there's enough room to fit the menu below the button.

Any ideas on how to determine this value or another method to reach this desired behavior?

Thanks,
Mitchell Livingston
