Getting File Info

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can give me a heads up on how to obtain information about files & paths? I've located some files using the File Manager and would like to get information like the creation & modification date, and if possible the owner? Basically the info you would get if you were to "Get Info" on a file in your desktop.
