I fail to see how -- you can have as many array controllers with
the same contents and predicates, etc. as you like.

no. My NSArrayController subsets another NSArrayController. It
"must" be the same NSArrayController.

How about a separate NSArrayController for your filtered list?

Hello,
I want to display a filtered content of a NSArrayController on a
NSPopUpButton. My NSManagedObjects in the NSArrayController have
the Attribute isActive. Only these objects should be in the
content of the NSPopUpButton. But I don't want to filter the
NSArrayController because its sed in other pieces of code.
how can I do this?
Thanks
