Hi all,
you know these "inspector" like floating panel windows (NSPanel I
suppose) in
iWeb, Pages, Keynote etc.?
All the GUI elements in there are grouped on tabs and each tab is
itentified via
an icon at the very top of this NSPanel window.
I want to make that, too, but can't find this kind of thing in IB.
There's just this
plain old NSTabView which doesn't seem to have an appropriate view
property.
Now, is it a special (custom) NSTabView with custom NSTabViewItems? Or
is this "icon bar" in fact a custom NSToolbar with hand-coded
functionality
for switching the "tabs"?
Is it supported by Cocoa out-of-the-box at all? Or has Apple made
it's own
special Class?
But it can be seen in other Apps, too, like Sandvox (no icons but
text labels
there for the tabs). Is everybody inventing the wheel again?
