and Linotype is a part of Monotype since the end of the last year,
right? I didn't know that Zapfino in OS X is AAT, but it makes sense.
If I remember it correctly, OTF features were not available in
Panther. Btw, nice work Dave. :)

Zapfino is indeed a Linotype font, but Apple was the first to add
advanced
typographic tables to it. I know, because I did the work. ;-)
Also just for the record, Zapfino is an AAT font on OS X, not an
OpenType
font.
