Hidden System Preferences doesn't send didUnselect message

  • Subject: Hidden System Preferences doesn't send didUnselect message

Hi all,

I'm experiencing a problem with a System Preference pane. If I hide System Preferences and quit it without making it activate (e.g. using the Quit menu in the Dock), my NSPreferencePane subclass doesn't receive the shouldUnselect, willUnselect and didUnselect messages.

To make sure that the problem didn't depend on my pane, I checked with the Network preference pane: if I add a new Location, hide System Preferences and quit it from the Dock, System Preferences quits without asking me whether I want to save the new location and loses the change.

Someone else noticed the problem and knows a workaround for it?

TIA,

Marco
