You appear to be doing two things bad here.
1. You're linking to Cocoa. This is not permitted in this context and
it leads to some pretty nasty bugs in #2.
2. Only cocoa apps have a main menu. Carbon apps do not has a [NSApp
mainMenu]. Hell, they don't even have an NSApp by default.
