Hi Tommy,

the file is actually called Credits.rtf (with a capital C).
I made it with TextEdit with no markup at all first.
Then added it to my project and edited it within
Xcode again (added some markup like different
font sizes and bold font here and there).

Does that lead us to a solution?

Thanks,
Stefan.

Hello folks,

I have a problem with this credits.rtf functionality...
I created such a file and added it to my Ressources folder
into my project (two localized versions, "English" and "de"
for German).

But when I now run my app and invoke the About dialog
it doesn't appear.
Instead, I get this in the Log:

2007-01-21 00:31:55.252 Complex[8277] *** -[NSCFDictionary setObject:forKey:]: attempt to insert nil value

What am I doing wrong?

Is it a problem with the .rtf file? Did I forget a necessary step
to make the mechanism work?

Thanks a lot to all of you!
Stefan.

As someone pointed out it should be named 'Credits.rtf'
Some Macintosh file systems are case sensitive.
Also how do you create the file? The only proper way is to save as rtf from a word processor.
If you are editing rtf markup directly, you might have a rtf syntax error.
