Dynamic Tooltip refresh?

  • Subject: Dynamic Tooltip refresh?

Is there a hidden API or tricky procedure to refresh a tooltip?

Test case:
----------

Let's imagine we're iTunes and dealing with the + button (lower left corner)

When the tool tip is displayed, if you press 'alt', the button is changed (easy to do in Cocoa) _and_ the tooltip is update too.

How can you refresh the tooltip in this case since setToolTip: does not cause an instant refresh?

BTW, there's a probable typo in iTunes: playlist is written "PlayList" for the Smart PlayList tooltip but "playlist" for the other tooltips.
