I can not compile anything in XCode, I get a stack of errors like
the following:
error: parse error before "__attribute__"
In quite a few files, for example NSCoder.h and NSObject.h
Also
error: parse error '@' token
This is with an empty project, I've just created a new one, not
changed a thing, hit Build and Go, and errors appear.
Have I got some defaults I need to reset or something simple? I
don't seem to be able to find anything useful on Google.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
1) The best mailing list for XCode is email@hidden.
Send a message with subject or body 'help' to xcode-users-
email@hidden to get an automated message for how to
subscribe.
2) Have you recently upgraded XCode? If so, did you run /Developer/
Tools/uninstall-devtools.pl before you did the upgrade? IIRC, you
can directly upgrade XCode without running that tool, but it isn't
foolproof, so it is better to uninstall, and then install a new full
version each time they come out with one.
Thanks,
Cem Karan
