subclass NSToolbar for iLife style

Hey all

I've noticed that of the applications that implement the iLife look and feel style, very few of them implement a type of toolbar that apple does in iPhoto (for instance). Why is this? I have managed to implement everything else I want to use in a similar style (using sean o'brians iLife controls), but I am unsure of how to approach creating the toolbar? Is it some type of NSToolbar subclass?

Any suggestions would be a great help, cheers
