Hi Garth,
This is a problem that happens quite often to me. But i don't think
we can consider it a problem actually.
The solution: set the button's behavior to 'Momentary Change' int the
Button's Inspector Palette. (if created from ib).

I have created a borderless NSButton, with a icon image insert into

I also read somewhere else that, I need to subclass NSButtonCell
and change the background there. But I don't know how I would do
that exactly.
