I just want to underline what Uli already said: You can _obviously_ create your UI from code, and it's as easy - or easier - than doing it in competing GUI libraries. Just create your objects, set properties, construct your object hierarchy. It works just like you would expect.

We get this type of question on Cocoa-Dev a couple of times per year. Check the list archives for discussions on this topic. Pros, cons, and technical tips and tricks.
