Hi,
just a short note to let people know that there's a new class up on
my web site:
UKSoundFileRecorder - a class that lets you record sound from the
system's standard sound input into a file. Get it from:

Other neat Cocoa classes you can find on my source code page are:
UKProgressPanel - a Finder/Safari-style progress window
NSWindow+Fade - a category for easily fading in and out a window
UKFilePathView - A file path display control which displays paths as
nice icons.
UKLoginItemRegistry - A Cocoa wrapper around Apple sample code for
adding an app to the user's login items or removing it again.
UKToolbarFactory - A controller class for easily creating toolbars
by adding an object to your NIB, plus a plist file with toolbar item
definitions.
UKSpeechSynthesizer - A better NSSpeechSynthesizer.
UKSyntaxColoredTextDocument - A source code-editing document class
that does indentation maintaining, indent/unindent, Go to line/
character menu items and automatically colored text, based on syntax
definition plists.
UKKQueue - A Cocoa wrapper around the kqueue local file change
notification mechanism.
UKPrefsPanel - A simple controller to hook up a toolbar to a
borderless and tabless NSTabView, to create simple multi-page prefs
windows.
UKDockProgressIndicator - A progress bar as an overlay for your dock
icon.
UKDistributedView - A Finder-style icon view.
UKDirectoryEnumerator - A better NSDirectoryEnumerator that also
gives you a lot of HFS and HFS+ file information in a Cocoa-savvy way.
