Hello,

I face the same 'issue'.

I created a subclass of NSView. I created an IBPalette and IBInspector to manipulate that subclass within IB.
I can drag/add my custom NSView subclass from the palette to another NSView, but I can't drag my custom NSView from the palette to the top level nib objects window (ie the window where reside 'File'sOwner).

Can someone explain how to create custom top level nib objects ?

Thanks in advance,
