You don't want to use the absolute path to the application for this.
Instead, you use NSBundle, e.g.
[[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"foo" ofType:@"jpg"]
or conveniences like [NSImage imagedNamed:] etc. Of course, NSBundle
can also tell you the absolute path to the application if you do need
it.
