Another language that is derived from the ideas of Objective-C (in the sense that it tried to improve on them and not restrict them like that automated coffee pot project IMHO) was Tom <http:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOM_(object-oriented_programming_language% 29>. Unfortunately it is a dead language, but if you are trying to create a new language it may be useful to take a look at the ideas behind it (I know the developer personally so I can help off-list if you need more info).
