NSTableView default sort column?

  • Subject: NSTableView default sort column?

I'm new to this whole Cocoa thing, and I'm mucking around with a sample app. I want to make my NSTableView be sorted by a particular column by default, while leaving it open for user sorting if desired. How do I do that?

I don't know how much info is needed; I'm using Core Data with an NSArrayController attached to my NSTableView. Pretty much all the stuff you see in the Core Data video tutorial, with some extra columns and custom cells.

Speaking of which, my date controller in the date column won't let me edit the date. What's up with that?

Thanks in advance,

Tom Cannon
