Drawers have (in-general) disappeared from the Mac OS X application landscape, and even in my own app, i'm transitioning away from using NSDrawer for the next release. Off-hand, excepting Preview.app, there doesn't seem to be any other Mac OS application that uses drawers anymore.

Perhaps you may be interested in using source lists
(http://indiehig.com/wiki/Source_Lists) instead?
